Class Descriptions Below

Meal Planning: Come prepared to party! We will be helping you plan out a rotatable monthly meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with a grocery shopping list and budget for every two weeks. We will also provide a realistic food storage shopping list to go along with the monthly meal plan to help you build up three months of realistic rotatable food storage. Come ready to ask questions about food storage, prepping meals, and how to get motivated to cook. In this class we will teach you meal prep short cuts that make cooking dinner more enjoyable and practical. Most important of all we will help you get organized in the kitchen so your day and night can run smoother. All printables are available to purchase here in the shop at all times if you are not able to attend this class.

Creating a Garden Bed: Trying to figure out how to get that English garden look? Need help identifying plants? Want a Temple Square tulip garden? It is easier than you think! Come enjoy this beginners gardening class where we teach you about how to create a garden bed, maintain it without wanting to pull out your hair along with all those weeds, and how to plant beautiful native plants that will grow extremely well. Bring all your garden questions and plans so we can help you fine tune them, and teach you the joy of creating a garden bed that doesn't take up all your time.

Home Decor 101: Learn how to arrange your furniture, figure out your style, and finally take the leap into picking those paint colors. Decorating tips and advice will be given along with answering any design questions you have. Come prepared with pictures of the space you want to decorate and start drawing up plans with the help of our supplies we provide. Find out how fun it is to turn your space into a cozy nook you never want to leave.

Wreath Making: In this class you will get to create a felt greenery wreath for your home that you can keep up all year long, all you need to do is switch out the ribbons each holiday. We will provide you with all supplies and ribbons you just need to come prepared to party! You can view a picture of this wreath here. (coming soon)

Basic Quilt Making: We can help you get started on learning how to create a 36"x36" baby quilt. The skills we teach you can also be used for larger quilts. In this class you will need to come prepared with your sewing machine. All other supplies will be provided. We will be teaching basting, quilting, and binding. Come prepared with any sewing questions you have! You can view the quilt pattern here. (coming soon)

Embroidery 101: Here is a class you can bring your daughter to! Learn a few basic stitches, how to thread a needle and begin and end a stitch, and how to transfer embroidery patterns. We will answer any questions and help you learn how to pick out colors for your projects. We will be learning a simple pattern that you can view here. (coming soon)

Schedule Planning for Busy Families: Learn how to plan out your month with certain day to day schedules and activities that are centered around goals you want to achieve. Learn how to de-stress and focus. We will help you draw up your goals and turn them into daily stress free activities. Learn how to manage your time and help your children learn ways to help around the house. Learn how to schedule dates with your partner and children, and find time for meals and homework. Learn the importance of switching your focus and discipline toward family and home life. If you are centered the rest will fall into place. Learn how to create personal goals that fill your bucket so you can in turn fill your families buckets. We will provide printables to create a daily schedule to follow for each day of the week along with a printable to help you figure out your monthly goals. Garland Making: In this class we will be making a Happy Birthday banner to hang up for your family members birthdays. All supplies will be provided. Just come ready to party! You can view the banner here. (coming soon)


 After you register for classes you will be given a printable or downloadable PDF of the following: receipt, a class description, a list of supplies provided, and the address of The Clark Cottage with Melissa Clark's phone number to contact if needed. I will also send out reminders via text once you have registered. Classes are taught at The Clark Cottage in Farmington until we outgrow the space.
